Crypto and forex signal groups and trading bots
Pay for access to a group that tells you what to buy, or a bot that trades for you. If the signals worked, they would not be for sale.
- Who pays you
- You pay a subscription for signals or a fee for a bot, then risk your own capital on trades. The signal seller earns the subscription regardless of your outcome, and often earns again from exchange referral commissions on your trading volume.
- Outcomes
- 0 receipts. Nobody's reported back on this one yet. Receipts open when accounts launch.
The pitch
A group chat with a confident leader posting entry and exit points. Or a bot with a backtest chart going up and to the right. Subscribe, follow the calls, get rich passively.
Where the money actually goes
- The subscription. The seller is paid whether you win or lose. Their business is subscribers, not returns.
- Referral commissions. Many signal groups earn a cut of the exchange fees on every trade their members make. More trades, more commission. The incentive is to make you trade, not to make you money.
- The arithmetic. Anyone with a reliably profitable strategy would compound it privately. Selling it to thousands of followers moves the market against the strategy and destroys the edge, which they know.
- Pump and dump. Some groups exist to sell into the buying they create. The leader's exit is your entry.
- Backtests. A bot's curve is fitted to the past. The future does not cooperate.
This site auto-rejects signal groups and guaranteed-return schemes. It also declines to give investment advice; this page is about the business model, not about any asset.
Money flow test: who pays you? Nobody. You pay them, then you pay the exchange.
What to do instead
Anything on this site where the person paying you is a customer for something you did.
